About two years ago I went on a roadtrip halfway across the country, hitting approximately 11 states within a three week's span of time. The trip was essentially a 30th birthday present to myself. A stop at the Mall of America led me to discover the wonderful world of Archivers. For those of you who live on the East Coast like I do, you won't know what Archivers is unless you came across the store online at some point. Basically, the place is a scrapbooking mecca. I literally scoured every state we were visiting to hit Archivers every chance I could get. Since I'm surrounded by Michaels, Hobby Lobby, and A.C. Moore, I had never encountered such a wonderful space dedicated explicitly to scrapbook crafts.
Anyway, one of the kits I'd picked up from Archivers was called "Daily Junque" from the Pinecone Company kit series (again, I've never seen this series in Michaels, H.L. or A.C. so it was great to have a complete kit in hand, especially since I'd only JUST began my foray into the world of scrap-happiness). The pictures below are of the finished product. My brother was looking to compile a gift for his wife based on their dating life (prior to marriage and two gorgeous babies) so I offered to let go of this little creation, seeing as I felt it was perfect for such a present!
My sister-in-law was thrilled with the results :) Check it out!
